City Hall and the Landfill will be closed for our employee Christmas Party.

Update: The waterline is complete.. But we are still working on a sewer repair in the same location.
There will be water interruption today in the 1100 block of Haney/Bernice, between the hours of 1 p.m. and 5 p.m., that will affect the odd side of Haney and the even side of Bernice. There is a large water leak in the alley and we expect it to take most of the afternoon to repair.

The water will be off in the 1100 block of Haney/Bernice to fix a water leak. Estimated time will be about 1 hour.

The Utility Angel Tree still has Angels waiting to be selected!
People have ask how we chose who went on the tree. The families/individuals are people in the community that we know of or have been told are on a fixed income, widowed, single moms and dads, and those who may be experiencing tough times due to illnesses or unexpected life changes. Even a small amount is a big help to these members of our community.

***UPDATE*** Repairs are completed & service has been restored..
Water customers in the 1100 block of Linn & Walter Wilmeth will be without water while our crew works as quickly as possible to repair a water leak. We estimate the repairs to be completed by mid-afternoon..

NOTICE

The landfill will be closed again today, Wednesday, 11/20, as it is still too wet to access. Hopefully we will dry out today and be able to open today.
Alleys are still also very muddy, and our sanitation drivers are doing their best to get to as much as they can. If your dumpster hasn't been picked up, we still have temporary dumpsters located at the Swimming Pool Park parking lot and in the mall/Lowe's parking lot. We appreciate your understanding and apologize for any inconvenience.

Contact the Chamber of Commerce for tickets and information.

The City of Spearman will be closed Monday, November 11, in observance of Veteran's Day. Thank you to all of those who have served to protect our freedom.

Due to the amount of rain we've received, the landfill will be closed today through Monday, 11/11.
We are also unable to access many of the alleys in town and won't be able to until Tuesday, 11/12, at the earliest. We are temporarily placing extra dumpsters in the parking lot at Swimming Pool Park (7th & Brandt) and in the parking lot at the mall/Lowe's, near the El Mariachi Restaurant sign. We ask that you please limit the use of these extra dumpsters to household trash for the weekend and avoid placing any large items in them. There are also dumpsters located in the alley between City Hall and the Skate Park. We will resume alley pickup again next week when things dry out a bit. Thanks for understanding.

The City utilities crew will be closing part of Haney Street between 5th and 7th Avenues this morning to repair a water leak toward the south end of the block. Repairs are expected to be completed by midday. Please avoid the area if possible. We apologize for the inconvenience.

Phones are currently down at City Hall. We are working with our provider to get the issue resolved as quickly as possible. As of now we do not have an estimate on when phones will be back up. We will post here when they are back up. Sorry for the inconvenience!
