There will be a Public Hearing at City Hall Tuesday, July 23, 2024, at 5:05 PM to hear public input for a grant application the City is submitting to Texas Parks and Wildlife for the construction of an inclusive and accessible playground in Eska Park.
Public input is critical to the success of our grant application, so please attend if you are able! Bring a friend! We need to hear from you! Help us bring an inclusive playground to Spearman for kids of all ages and abilities to enjoy!
If you can't make it to the meeting, but still want to support our efforts to secure the grant, letters of support are also a great way to help! Any letters of support need to be received in City Hall by July 29 at 5:00 PM. Letters can be dropped off at 30 SW Court, mailed to PO Box 37, Spearman, TX 79081, or emailed to jparker@cityofspearman.com.

Early voting for the 2024 City Council General Election begins at City Hall on Monday, April 22. Early voting is by personal appearance and a valid ID is required.
This week City Council authorized City staff to begin pursuing a Local Communities Park Grant from Texas Parks and Wildlife Department! This is a competitive grant and community support and input is a vital part of the application packet! Details will be coming soon on how YOU can help us receive this grant to improve our parks!
