All City departments will be closed on Monday, May 25th in observance of Memorial Day. If an emergency should occur please call dispatch at the Hansford County Sheriffs Office, 806-659-4140, they can dispatch our on call service to assist you.

If you have not made a payment on your account for the bill due May 18th, the payment cutoff date will be May 28th at 9:00 AM.

Due to the power outage, we are currently experiencing difficulties with our phone system. We are working to resolve the issue and hope to have the phones back up and running soon.

The City of Spearman is excited to announce that beginning May 19, 2026, City Council and EDC meetings will be livestreamed for the public.
May 12, 2026, the City will record the Special City Council meeting as well as the regular EDC meeting, and those recordings will be uploaded online for public viewing.
In order to meet YouTube’s requirements for livestreaming, the channel must first reach 50 subscribers and complete a 24-hour activation period. We encourage everyone to help us reach that goal by subscribing to the City’s official YouTube channel.

A Special City Council Meeting will be held on Tuesday, May 12, 2026 at 8:30 am to Canvass the 2026 General Election.
The Utility Maintenance crew will be working on replacing a water line on Roland Street between 3rd and 4th streets. The road will be blocked off but service should not be interrupted.
