The City of Spearman was recognized Friday, May 9th, by the Texas Workforce Commission as a member of their 2025 "We Hire Vets" program.
To be eligible, at least 10% of an employer's employees must be veterans. Currently, the City employs 4 veterans that make up about 17% of the entire staff.
The four veterans employed with the City are Steven Dettmer, Chris Taylor, Jim Travis and Brandon Vincent.
We are proud to employ veterans and appreciate their prior service to our country and continued service to the community of Spearman.
