Spearman Police Department is a four officer department, including the Police Chief, a sergeant and two patrolmen. The Department also enlists the services of Reserve Officers when necessary.

The Department's Police Officer Recruit Program covers the cost of attending the police academy in exchange for three years of service to the Department upon graduation.
